What I Do

Book Writing

Kashaka has lived in Asia, America, Europe, India, and the Caribbean. He believes that people need connection, diversion, and inspiration. He writes from the unique perspective of someone who is incomplete, searching for fulfillment in work, life, and literature. He writes books that inspire, engage, and provokes thought and laughter.

Public Speaking

Maya Angelou said it best, “People will forget what you said… but they will remember how you made them feel.” As a speaker, Kashaka connects with the audience authentically, so that they walk away entertained, inspired, and asking for more.

Developmental Workshops

Kashaka provides creative workshops that allow the audience to engage in a fresh perspective. Like a fisheye lens, or an impressionist painting, the ability to see a familiar subject in a new light is compelling. Contact him for more details about the workshops.

“ There is no greater reward for a writer than to inspire someone he has never met.”

What Our Readers Say

Read My Dad Is Not a Superhero today with my 8-year-old and 3-year-old boys. Toward the end, my 8-year-old started smiling as he anticipated the ending. He smiled big and said, “my dad is my hero too”. Which made me feel incredible. I think the charm in this book is that every kid can identify with having a dad who does a lot around the house, from cooking and cleaning to gardening, and that is part of what a great dad does. Great message.

My Dad Is Not a Superhero is an adorable story that honors the fathers of the world; especially girl dads! The pictures capture the attention of children and sparks conversation for discussion about the book which can be teachable moments.

My Dad Is Not a Superhero is so good because it’s so true! We try our best and it’s amazing our kids think we are super hero’s when we are just normal people. Great children a book for kids to read with ease while learning that is dads are just people too, although we do a ton for our kids. Very smart idea for a book and great illustrations. Love it!

Empowering children today helps them to become assertive and independent in the future. However, there are challenges in today’s modern world when it comes to teaching them grit and the right mindset to overcome obstacles in life. It can be difficult to find quality time to simply sit down and connect with your kids. The children’s books created by Kashaka will solve that challenge by creating a unique bonding opportunity, where you can be the hero.
